- What areas does Vine Valley Plumbing serve?
- We provide residential plumbing throughout Napa County and Sonoma County, including Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Healdsburg, and surrounding communities.
- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes. Vine Valley Plumbing is licensed (CSLB #1159843) and insured. You can verify California contractor licenses on the CSLB website.
- Who will show up at my house?
- We are owner-operated by Devin Lantz and Dominic Chiotti. You work with the people who run the company - not a rotating franchise dispatch list.
- Do you only do residential work?
- Yes. We focus on homes in Napa and Sonoma County. If you need a large commercial or multi-trade (HVAC/electrical) contractor, we will say so rather than stretch the job.
- How do I schedule service?

- How long do water heaters last here?
- Tank water heaters in Napa and Sonoma County often last 8–12 years because of mineral content. Tankless units can last longer with descaling. Leaking, rust, or a tank at the end of its life usually means replacement.
- Is my clog a drain issue or a sewer issue?
- One fixture usually means a local drain. Several fixtures, a gurgling toilet, or sewage in a tub or floor drain usually means the main line. We confirm on site and use a camera when it will change the recommendation.
- Do you inspect sewer lines?
- Yes. We camera-inspect residential sewer laterals throughout Napa and Sonoma County - for repeat backups, a home sale, or when you need to see roots, offsets, or damage before you repair.
- Do you pull permits for gas line work?
- When the city or county requires a permit, yes. Gas piping and many appliance change-outs are permitted work. We plan the job so the inspection is expected, not a surprise.
- Do I need a whole-home repipe?
- Not always. Repeated leaks, rusty water, or failing galvanized or polybutylene can justify a full or targeted repipe. We inspect first and will not sell a whole-house job when a section will solve it.
