Most plumbing work is not a full repipe. It is a leaking angle stop, a failed cartridge, a split supply, or a valve that will not shut off. We repair and replace the parts that keep a house dry and usable.

When to call
- Drips at faucets, showers, toilets, or under sinks
- A valve that will not close or that leaks at the stem
- Water stains, soft drywall, or a hiss you can hear in the wall
- Fixtures that need to be replaced to current code
Leaks & valves
We find the source, shut it down cleanly, and replace failed supplies, stops, and fittings. We do not open a wall unless we absolutely need to.
Fixtures
We repair fixtures when it is the most sensible option, and replace when a repair wouldn’t cut it.
System upgrades
Pressure-reducing valves, automatic shutoff valves, and targeted piping upgrades make the next repair easier and protect the rest of the house.
Many wine-country homes mix original galvanized or polybutylene remnants with later copper and PEX. We repair what is there and tell you when a section is not worth patching again.
Repair / Replacement questions
- Can you replace a faucet or toilet I already bought?
- Yes. Bring the fixture or have it on site. We will confirm it fits the rough-in and the water lines before we start.
- When is a leak more than a simple repair?
- If the leak is in the wall, under a slab, or on a line that has failed in multiple places, we will show you and discuss a targeted replacement instead of another temporary patch.
